Buffing Wheels

Buffing wheels for most applications, available in 6" and 8" sizes to fit 5/8" and 1/2" shaft. These buffs are pleated, to run cooler and carry more compound to the surface than other buffs. The Canton Cotton are very soft finishing buffs and the domet is the softest buff out there, but should only be run at 1000 rpm.

Advised speeds:

6" buffs up to 5000 rpm, 6 inch Canton Cotton up to 3500
8" buffs up to 3500 rpm
8" Canton cotton upto1750 rpm
10" domet up to 1400 rpm

Overspeeding will waste compound, reduce efficiency of buffs and can be dangerous if speed exceeds manufacturers recommendations.
