With a full service base and mobile custom metal polishing shop, we can work with aluminum, stainless steel, brass, bronze, copper, monel, nickel, silver, etc., occasionally doing surface repairs on antique items, and all manner of memorabilia.
The polishing shop handles everything from small antiques and museum pieces through to full custom show trucks and luxury watercraft. We'll go to the location of the object when it is not practical to send it to us. We polish engine casings, cam covers, valvecovers, alternators,
propellers, tanks, wheels, custom fabrications and castings.
We restore household and antique silver, brass and copperware, and are happy to pass on technical advice to both do-it-your-selfers and other polishing shops.
The polishing shop is also responsible for ensuring the consistent performance of our range of liquid metal polishes.
It is because the polishing shop could not locate hand polishes suitable to meet our exacting requirements, that we set about developing our own. Every new or Custom blend is tested in our shop to ensure that it meets both ours and our customers requirements.
The polishing shop will travel to just about anywhere and often takes along a chromium repair kit which allows us to "Band-aid" small areas of damaged chromium plating with a re-chromed finish. It is not quite as good as a proper re-plating job - but then it's not as expensive either.
The mobile operation normally travels to work on semi's, yachts, commercial pieces, industrial presses, bank tellers, large gates, bells, (Though we prefer them not to be in steeples or Davy Jones' locker!) and expensive antiques that the owners do not trust to be out of their sight or are not practical to ship.
